Wave Engineering

A wave is a disturbance that incorporates strength from one location to every other. Matter is NOT carried with the wave! A wave can flow thru count number (known as a "medium"), but a few waves do not want a medium with a purpose to flow. If a wave desires a medium, we call it a mechanical wave. If a wave can tour without a medium, (as an instance, through space), we call it an electromagnetic wave. Wave properties depend upon what (kind of electricity) makes the wave. For example, you splash within the ocean or earthquakes developing a tsunami. Descriptive wave houses encompass:

  • Wavelength
  • Frequency
  • Amplitude
  • Wave velocity
